With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donnie Wright of DeKalb, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Phillip, Willie Fortenberry Jones and Katie Wright Bateman; his parents, Delmon Wright and Nancy Jones Wright; his siblings, Barry, Ted Wright and Delva Jean Wright Eastman; his grandson Zachary Chain; and his great grandchildren, Leigh Thomas Kilpatrick and Addilyn Henderson.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Sciple Wright; his children, Amy Clark (Ronald), Amie Chain (Robert), Wayne Eaves (Tammy) and Chad Wright (Andrea); his grandchildren, Casey Wright (Phillip), Summer Stokes (Eric), Kodi Kilpatrick (Colt), Kayla Smith (Randy), Adrianna Chain, Ethan Wright, Breanna Eaves (Peyton), Nyla Smith (Jordan), Aly Chain, Cooper Wright and Romy Wright; his great grandchildren, Emory, Preston Stokes, Fenton, Jhett Kilpatrick, Lakelynn Fulcher and Ryder Smith; and his siblings, Jerry Nell Wright DuBard, Marsha Geoghagan (Tom), Mark Wright and Danny Wright (Tina). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
