She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Crosby and Valelis Nelson Crosby; her in-laws, Roger C. and Annell Thornton Gaines; and her brother-in-law Johnny Gaines.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Gaines of Decatur; her children, Jennifer Burch (Jeff), Jason Gaines (Detra) of Hernando and Lindsay Frith of Pearl; and her sister Sandra Johnson (Ted) of Lake. She is also survived by two nephews, two nieces, one sister-in-law, two aunts and several cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home North (9998 MS-15, Newton, MS 39345). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the Decatur Cemetery (75 Wic Rd, Decatur, MS 39327).
