She is survived by: her children, Danny Heflin (Debbie) of Wilmer, AL, Stan Heflin (Rhonda) of Louisville and Dana Heflin Vance (Curtis) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Libby Culpepper (Jackie), Jesse Vance, Ashton Culpepper (Kiley) and Todd McLelland (Jennifer); and her sister-in-law Polly McElhenney of Union. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:55 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home - North (9998 MS-15, Ackerman, MS 39735). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Newton County Memorial Gardens (9998 MS-15, Newton, MS 39345).
