It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leavy Harold Rigdon of Decatur, Mississippi, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Rigdon and Clora Rigdon; his daughter Melissa Dawn Rigdon; his brother-in-law Paul Boeckl; and his niece Lisa Rigdon.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Sauer Rigdon of Decatur; his children, Tammie Rigdon Edwards (Stacy) of Hattiesburg and Lee Rigdon (Mike) of Hattiesburg; his grandsons, Cody Rigdon of Decatur, Jacob Edwards (Chloe) of Richland, MS and Jackson Edwards of Hattiesburg; his siblings, Horace Rigdon (Ruby) and Lucille Rigdon Savell (Jobie); and his great grandchild Kendyl Edwards. He is also survived by numerous other family members, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union (23477 MS-15, Union, MS 39365). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
