We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2024, at the age of 90, James Jerry Harris of Decatur, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Coburn and Mittie Lou Dearman Harris; his brother Pat Harris; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Simkins and Dr. Robert Ritter.

He is survived by: his wife Minnie Jo Milner Harris of Decatur, MS; his children, James Jerry Harris, Jr. (Deborah) of Starkville, MS, Julie Nabors (Ronnie) of Fayette, AL and Joanie Tedford of Clarksdale, MS; his siblings, Chris Harris (DeAnne) of Decatur, MS, Sue Simkins of Brandon, MS and Patsy Ritter of Ridgeland, MS; and his sister-in-law Linda Harris of Decatur, MS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
