He is survived by: his wife Bettye Gardner Barnett of Decatur; his children, Clay Barnett (Christy) of Hattiesburg and Kristen Butler (Gary) of Starkville; his grandchildren, Andy Barnett of Gulfport, Dylan Barnett of Decatur, Caleb Butler of Starkville, Clayton Butler of Starkville, Maggie Butler of Starkville and Gareth Butler of Starkville; his great grandchild Ashlynn Tillman of Gulfport; his stepgrandchildren, Micah Thornton of Hattiesburg, Noah Thornton of Hattiesburg and Claire Thornton of Hattiesburg; his brother Jerry Barnett; his nieces, Gaye Sebren of Pearl and Melissa Comans of Pearl; his sister-in-law Brenda Parkes of Decatur; his niece Brandi Baucum (Jamie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayla of Newton and Tate of Newton; his nephew Jade Parkes (Stacy); his great-nephew Noah of Decatur; and his great-niece Hope of Decatur.
