She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gatlin and Mattie Gatlin. She is survived by: her son Larry; her husband Melvin; her children, Brenda Green (Mike), Susan Lippincott (John) and John Mardis (Coral); her grandchildren, Nate Rolison (Wendy), Kallie Gore (Brian), Jacob Mardis, Justin Mardis, Katie Owen (Russell), Zac Lippincott, Sarah Dickason (Brent), Ginny Schwab (Jonathan), Evan Lippincott (Jamie) and Brock Mardis (Taylor); her sisters, Dolly Murph of Pensacola and Syble Parten of Saraland, Alabama; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Gatlin (Mickey) of Satsuma, Alabama. and Donna Gatlin (Ronnie) of Satsuma, Alabama.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
