He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Miller Greer and Thelma Greer; his former wife Florence Greer; and his brother James Miller. He is survived by: his wife Mary Greer; his children, Cindy Greer, Debbie Yarbrough Sullivan, Diane Beazley and Mike Greer; and his sisters, Doris Ball, Louise Johnson and Fran McLendon. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
