With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Pevey (Crystal Springs, Mississippi), who passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy L. Pevey; his granddaughter Lynzie Pevey; and his brothers, Benny Nelson Pevey and A. Q. Pevey (Sonny). He is survived by: his children, Michelle Davis (Andy) of Harrisville and Michal Pevey (Angela) of Harrisville; his siblings, Mary Etta Pevey Welch (Percy) of Crystal Springs, Jimmy Dale Pevey (Sue) and David Rudolph Pevey (Lisa); his stepchildren, Clay Albright (Melanie) of Florence, Steve Albright (Donna) of Terry, Stacye Brandon (Bryan) of Byram, Nancy Brinkley (Cole) of Georgia and Amy Barbree (Willie) of Mendenhall; his grandchildren, Kayla Welch (Trinity), Kristie Mitchell, Whitney Davis and Grayson Pevey; and his great grandchildren, Haley Welch, Mattie Welch, Hunter Benson and Paisley Benson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the County Line Baptist Church (3059 County Line Rd, Crystal Springs, MS 39059). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
