It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pete Lawrence of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Pete may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pete touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Wright Lawrence and Gloria Allen Lawrence; and his brother Timothy Larence. He is survived by: his wife Vallerie Lawrence; his children, David Lawrence of Crystal Springs, Brandie Lawrence of Crystal Springs and Melissa Blackmon (Kenneth) of Crystal Springs; his sister Gloria Turner of Wesson; and his grandchildren, Hadyn Lawrence, Madison Lawrence (Tyler Holliday) and Chance Downing.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the County Line Baptist Church (3059 County Line Rd, Crystal Springs, MS 39059).
