She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Ray Jackson. She is survived by: her sons, Ray Jackson (Sharon) of Hudson, British Columbia and Larry Jackson of Crystal Springs; her siblings, Jimmy Jackson, Tally Jackson, Irma Sykes and Winnie Banks; her grandchildren, Tucker Jackson of Gardiner, Ben Jackson of Hudson, Angie Fagan (James) of Bassfield, Rebecca Powers (Jason) of Juneau, Judd Jackson (Claire) of Wesson, Dallas Owens (Matt) of Wesson and Max Jackson of Crystal Springs; and her great grandchildren, Abigail Fagan, Will Fagan, Isabelle, Cannon, Jaxton Powers, Allias Owens and John Ross Jackson.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Opal can be made to the March of Dimes or Harmony Baptist Church.
