She was predeceased by: her parents, Ovid Rotch Mohon and Mattie Monette Strong Mohon; her husband Ragan; and her siblings, Merle Gibson, Orval Mohon, Ray Mohon and O. R. Mohon, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Walters (Cathy), Betty Price (Bill), Alton Walters (Erny) and Jerry Walters (Cathy); and her brother Wayne Mohon. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (300 S Jackson St, Crystal Springs, MS 39059). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gatesville Baptist Church (3162 Gatesville Rd, Crystal Springs, MS 39059).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs in her honor.
