She was predeceased by: her parents, D. B. Kerr and Mary Frances Kerr; and her sisters, Barbara Morgan and Kaye Kerr. She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Don Townsend (Liz), David Townsend (Kim) and Susan T. Easterling (Irving); her sister Kathy Jennings (John); and her grandchildren, Shane Easterling, Seth Easterling, Summer Burns, Sara Allen, Emily Townsend, Jordan Townsend and Dallas Townsend. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, along with other loving family members and friends.
