He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his children, Steve Funchess (Lynn) of Fairhope, Alabama, Chris Cole (Carolyn) of Tupelo, MS and Jill Bullard (Brian) of Brandon; his grandchildren, Cole Furlow, Camie Cole, Carrie Anne Cole of Baton Rouge, LA and Carlie Funchess of Fairhope, AL.; his stepgrandchildren, Candace, Noelle and Dylan Bullard; and his siblings, Ed Funchess of McComb and Anelaine Morgan of Katy, TX.
Colonel Lucius Alton Funchess, Jr. passed away peacefully on October 11, from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
