He is survived by: his wife Jerolyn Strong Hobbs; his sons, John Ferrell Hobbs, Jr. and Matthew Gerald Hobbs; his mother Barbara Ann Duncan Hobbs; his grandchildren, McKinley Manning and Jacob Hobbs; his great grandchild Hazel Martin; and his nieces and nephews, Brad Hayes, Kyle Foster, Heather Landry, Ann Renee Bentley and Molly Murrell.
