He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Ainsworth and Onnie Blakeney Ainsworth; his daughter-in-law Monique Ainsworth; and his siblings, Avery, Max Ainsworth, Maurine Delk, Blanche Duff, Wildred Cook and Willa Rae Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Carlene Grantham Ainsworth; and his sons, James David and Robert Keith Ainsworth. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
