He was predeceased by: his parents, Hicks Blaylock Sr. and Mary Sue Blaylock; his son Trey Blaylock; and his siblings, Sally Purifoy, Tommy Blaylock and Sherman Blaylock.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Blaylock; his daughters, Gloria Etta Fisher (Willie) and Tammy Blaylock (Joey); his grandchildren, Kirsten Blair (Tyler), Mallory Fisher (Chandler), Madeline McCool (Tyler), Lillie Fisher (John Macky), Will Fisher (KP), Elaina Tovar, Cody Tovar (Addison), Cassidie Blaylock, Tyler Blaylock and Bethanie Blaylock; and his great grandchildren, Carrington Blair, Mackenzie Blair, Savannah Blair and James McCool.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Zion Baptist Church (12023 New Zion Rd, Crystal Springs, MS 39059). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Damascus Cemetery.
