It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Turman of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, born in Houston, Mississippi, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Smith and Annie Bell Doss Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jack Thompson Turman; her siblings, Era Mae Huffman, Estelle Easley, Louise Rhea, Tommy Lee Smith, Reuben E. Smith, Limmie E. Smith, Edward Smith, Milton Smith, Quitman Smith, Robert P. Smith and William Albert Smith; her daughter Bonnie; her son-in-law Eldon Pitts; her son Paul; her daughter-in-law Dori Turman; her granddaughter Elizabeth Nicole Pitts Chandler; and her caregivers, Gail Odom and Lynell Lotts.
