He is survived by: his wife Melvaline Simmons; his children, Wade Simmons, Karen Lancaster and Regina Simmons; his stepchildren, Ronnie Lack and Cathy L. Lack; and his brother Gary Simmons (Renee) of Allen, TX. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
