He is survived by: his parents, Jimmy Allen and Nancy Allen; his wife Beth of Harrisville; his brother Michael Allen; his fiancée Louisa Whitfield-Smith of Jackson; and his cousin Beth Willis.

“I met George online in 2009 through the game Dark Age of Camelot, one of his and my favorite games, and instantly became good friends. To this day I consider him one of my best friends and had hoped I'd get to meet him in person. I haven't spoken to him in a year or so, but heard he was due to be married this year. I am very happy that he fell in love with someone. Nancy - I am truly saddened by the news of his passing and I am sorry for your loss. He was a great man. With love, - David Godwin”
