She is survived by: her children, James Dee Shannon of Hazlehurst and Sharon Shannon Daniels of Sharpsburg, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Christi Benefield (Clyde) of Moreland, Georgia, Ben Daniels (Emily) of Farmington, Michigan, Kelly Shannon of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, Becky Harris of Birmingham, Alabama and P. J. Shannon (Katie) of Hazlehurst, Mississippi.. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
