He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald King and Ruth Barker King; and his aunt Patsy Strong. He is survived by: his son Elbert Roy King, Jr. of Hazlehurst; his parents, Roy King and Rhonda Chinn King; his brother Darrell Ellison King (Melissa) of Crystal Springs; and his nephew William King of Crystal Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Pine Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
