He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Baskin Hailes and Eddward Hailes; his brother Johnny Cottrell; and his nephew Christopher Cottrell. He is survived by: his sister Ann Easterwood; his niece Tara Easterwood; his great-nephew Dylan Cottrell; and his aunt Peggy Pickel. He is also survived by cousins and lifelong friends.
