She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Earl and Ollie Buckley; her husband Ervin Dear; her daughter Faye Dear; and her son-in-law Charles Shorter.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Shorter Cockrell (Steve); her grandsons, Brent Shorter (Angie), Brian Shorter and Brady Shorter; her sister Sue Harper; and her child Dub Bridges. She is also survived by 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers she would like donations to be made to Gideon International so that Bibles would be distributed in her memory.
