She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marion and Dealie Morris Whitaker. She is survived by: her brother James Whitaker, Jr.; her husband Carl Howard; her children, Cindy Howard, Clancy Neal Howard and Carmen Howard of Brandon, MS; her sister Patty; and her siblings-in-law, William Avritt of Cleveland, MS and Mary Rutledge (Irvin) of Crystal Springs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stringer Family Funeral Home - Crystal Springs (26141 MS-27, Crystal Springs, MS 39059). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
