He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carroll Johns, Sr. and Dorothy Runnells Johns; and his sister Ann Harper. He is survived by: his wife Maria Turner Johns; his children, Christopher Rodreges, Greg Johns, Jenifer Turner, Faith and Kristin; his brothers, John C. Johns, Jr. (Debbie), Randall G. Johns (Vicki) and James A. Johns (Rubie); and his grandson Brennan Patrick.
