Brister (Jay); her brother Brandon Brown of Jackson; her stepmother Sue Brown of Columbiana, AL; her parents-in-law, Ben and Katherine Brister of Crystal Springs, MS; her sister-in-law Christy Brister-Bridges of Brandon, MS; her niece Meagan Bridges of Brandon, MS; her nephew Josh Bridges of Brandon, MS; and her close friends, Jennifer and Ferdy Pippen of Waynesboro, MS. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
