He was predeceased by: his parents, S. Q. Hester and Sarah Johnson; his grandmother Mary Lou Wilson Johnson; his aunt Mary Ann Johnson; his stepfather L. C. Tillman; his siblings, Annie Mae Wilson and Fred Lyon Tillman; and his stepdaughter Felicia Thedford.
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Jenkins Thedford of Hazlehurst, MS; his siblings, O. C. Tillman of Jackson, MS, Jerry Taylor of Crystal Springs, MS and Tameka Johnson of Crystal Springs, MS; his children, Fredrick Tillman (Kecia) of Ridgeland, MS and Tammie L. Tillman of Brandon, MS; his stepchildren, Michael Jenkins and Za'Kiria May of Hazlehurst, MS.; his uncle Sunny Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA; and his aunt Daisy Gayles of Slidell, LA.. He is also survived by Six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
