He is survived by: his children, Jerald Ainsworth, Jr. (Dorothy) of Chattanooga, TN and Linda McMurphy (Cliff) of Byram, MS; and his siblings, Jessie Lynn Ainsworth of Crystal Springs, Max T. Ainsworth of Byram, MS and Maurine Delk of Raleigh, MS.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
