She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isaac Purser and Julia Omega Alford Douglass; her husband Percy Delton Berch; her children, Jimmy Delton Berch and Nancy Berch Matthews; her siblings, Isaac Douglass, Jr., Christine Stallings and Estelle Beard; her children, Patsy Crews (James) of Jackson, Billy Carson of Vicksburg and Albert (Nora) of Hazlehurst; and her sister Juanita Smith of Kansas City, Missouri.. She was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
