She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Hardy and Ruby Foster Hardy; her husband Chester L. Johnston Sr.; her children, Chester L. Johnston Jr., Clifton Lamar Johnston and Ann Johnson; her grandchildren, Brian Forman, Jason Johnston and Jackie Johnson; and her great grandchild John David Bowman.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Sterling, Joyce Aldridge (Mark) and Mike Johnston (Connie). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
