She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Phipps and Vallie Mae Wisner Phipps; her husband James Taylor; and her siblings, Levell Phipps and Auline Nicholas.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Medine (Anthony), Elaine Shipley, George A. Garig Jr. (Felicia), Henry Garig, Paul Perkins (Andi) and Lynn Perkins; and her stepchildren, Steve Taylor and Kim Fontenot. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
