He is survived by: his siblings, Lillie Gray (Larry) of Crawford, MS, Lottie Jefferson of Oxford, MS, Wilson Jefferson and Robert Jefferson of Crawford, MS; and his close friend Rita Guyton of Columbus, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
