She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hawkins and Annie Dale Hawkins; her husband Samuel Martin Everett; her son Ronnie Martin Everett; and her siblings, Ann Shankle and Otis Hawkins.
She is survived by: her son Sammy Lee Everett of Courtland, MS. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
