It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Carroll Eaker (Corinth, Mississippi), born in Union, Mississippi, who passed away on March 15, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wives, Imogene Bynum Eaker and June Whirley Schrieber Eaker; his parents, Adolphus Carroll Eaker and Grace Neoma Staggs Eaker; and his siblings, Paul Ramer Eaker, Broadus Reginald Eaker, George Olen Eaker, Ophelia Eaker Williams and Ruth Eaker Beasley.
He is survived by: his friend Al Woodhouse; his grandson Buddy; his children, Bill Eaker, Jr. (Angie) of Mesa, Arizona and Elizabeth Grace "Beth" Eaker of Senatobia, MS; and his stepchildren, Linda Allard (Chip) of New Hampshire, Gayle Moore (Mike) of Corinth, MS, Bill Curtis (Mary) of New Hampshire and Stephen Curtis (Caroline) of Oundle, UK. He is also survived by 11 step grandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
