He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Godwin and Pat Godwin; and his brother Richard Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Godwin of Corinth; his children, William Thomas Godwin Jr. (Deshante) of Corinth and Mary Elizabeth Godwin (Chris Harrell) of Corinth; his grandchildren, Isaac Godwin, Annasophia Elizabeth Godwin and Gabriel Josiah Godwin; and his brothers, Jimmy Godwin, Johnny Godwin and Bobby Godwin of Corinth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 am Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Rutherford Memorial Gardens officiated by Pastor W. T. Godwin Jr. The family requests that masks and social distancing be adhered to.
