He is survived by: his wife Daris Mills Gray; his children, Donna Dean, David Gray (Laressa) and Danny Gray; his grandchildren, Jon Dean, Devin Gray and Dana Gray; and his siblings, Junior Gray (Jackie), James Gray, Gladys Dixon, Ruth Holder, Ollie Mae Austin, Laverda Johnson and Ruby Fondren (Bobby). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
