He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam East and Evelyn Payne East; and his siblings, Henry Clay East and Marie Davidson. He is survived by: his sons, Samuel East II (Shaina) and Jordan East; his grandchildren, Samuel III, Tyler, Felicity, Calise and Levi; and his sister Etta Faye Starnes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
