He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Joe Watson and Betty C. Butler Watson; his siblings-in-law, Carlton Brown and Dorothy Smith; his parents-in-law, Codie and Carlie McDuffy Brown; and his close friends, Joseph B. Lee and Douglas "Buddy" Griggs.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Watson; and his siblings-in-law, Leroy Brown (Hilda), Arvolle Brown (Hazel) and Norma Sullivan (Jerry).
