She is survived by: her son Gregory Scott Smith; her husband Philip S. Smith; her grandchildren, Monserrat Sandra Smith, Stephanie Ariana Smith and Brandon Edward Smith; her great grandchild Jocelyn Antonio-Smith; her sister Nelda Pittman Seiver; and her nieces, Vivian Seiver Heinrich and Deborah Seiver Gernentz.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to "The Lighthouse of Houston".
