It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Smith (Corinth, Mississippi), who passed away on June 19, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Walker Smith, Sr. and Elva Laura Good Smith; his brother Roger Smith; his parent-in-law Wilson; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Choate Brown, Jean Choate Smith, Ricky Franks, Sr. and Tommy Choate; his nephews, Steve Smith and Joey Smith; and his niece Cherie Franks.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Choate Smith of Corinth; his daughters, Angie Smith Harmon (Kevin Melson) of Corinth and Nikki Smith Hill (Dallis Hill) of Guys, TN; his siblings, Basil Smith, Jr. of Corinth and Kathy Franks of Arthur, IL; his grandchildren, Nick Monroe, Landon Monroe, Tyson Harmon, Kristin Monroe and Alexis Harmon; his stepgrandson Jordan Harmon; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Choate Bonds and Ava Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
