He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma McKinney; his daughter Anita McKinney; and his grandson Brennen Thrasher. He is survived by: his son Jerry McKinney; his sister Mary Viola McKinney; his granddaughters, Amy Hubbard, Carrie Baker and Rebecca McKinney; and his great grandchild Jaidyn Thrasher.
