She was predeceased by: her father James South; her husband David Speck Fooshee; her son Edwin "Eddie" Fooshee; and her siblings, James, Hurley, Hurbert, Ruby Johnson, Evelyn Glover, Anna Lee Greer and Wilma Fae Adams.

She is survived by: her caregiver Margaret Greer-King. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
