He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earvel and Ruby Potts; and his brother Gary Potts. He is survived by: his wife Lois Juanell Potts; his daughters, Rita Parks (Mike) of Corinth and Shannon Hardwick (Kelly) of Brandon, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Hannah Christian (Trey) of Corinth, John William Hardwick of Sandy Springs and Olivia Hardwick of Buckhead, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Parks Mitchell and Reese Christian; and his sister Sherry Hunt (Gerald) of Germantown, Tennessee..
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McPeters Funeral Home. A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.
