She was predeceased by: her former husband Baldy James; her siblings, James Rebon Clark, William and Imogene Crum; her great grandchild Bryson Sanders; her stepson Donnie James; her son-in-law Aaron Smith; her father-in-law Arlo Milam; and also Arlon James.

She is survived by: her husband Bennie O. Milam; her children, Dannis James (Sandra), Olida Smith and Brenda Willis (Ed); her grandchildren, Becky Sanders, Cameron Lovell, Misty Crotts, Sandie Null, Nicole Sanders, Melissa McEwen, Eddie Willis, Aaron Lee Smith, Steve James and Melissa Miller; and also Sammy James (Kathy). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
