He is survived by: his wife Brenda Spencer Childs; his grandchildren, Braddock Ellis Hight, Sydney Brooke Hight and Neeley Breenan Hight; his siblings-in-law, O. E. Spencer, III, Cathy Davis Spencer and Judy Taylor Childs; and his nieces and nephews, Mike Childs (Rayeann), O. E. Spencer IV (Spence), Sylbia Spencer Mills (Barry), Sally Spencer Hammett (Phillip), Amy Spencer Vanderford, Kasey Spencer Atkins (Eric), Susan Spencer Butler (John), Mary Katharine Spencer Sullivan (Brian), Sonja Childs Palmer and Lisa Childs Greenleaf. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren.
