With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Frances Whitaker of Corinth, Mississippi, who passed away on September 3, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oles Smith and Lola Smith of Gravel Hill; her sons, Rocky Whitaker and Terry Whitaker; her son-in-law Jerry Edwards; and her brother Bobby Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Delane Whitaker; her children, Scotty Whitaker (Sandy) and Lisa Whitaker Edwards; her daughter-in-law Susan Whitaker; her sisters, Peggy Inman, Diane Mathis and Wanda Faye Seago; her grandchildren, Justin Whitaker, Josh Whitaker (Paige), Ciarra Edwards Hollifield (Adam) and Skyler Edwards; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Bradlee and Crew Whitaker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home (613 Bunch St, Corinth, MS 38834). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
