It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin James (Corinth, Mississippi), who passed away on May 23, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepmother Vertie Mae James; and his siblings, Arlin James, Earnest "Cotton" James, David James, Ann James, Ruth Beasley, Dorothy Glidewell, Lettie Vee Switcher and Zula Mask.

He is survived by: his wife Lela Morrow James; his children, Travis James, Billy James (Martha) and Regina Wagner (Robert); his sisters, Atri Dildy, Doris Austin (Daryl) and Emma Jo Hudson (Sanford); his sister-in-law Betty James; and his grandchildren, Shawn Gordon, Donny James (Michelle), Jason James and Brittney James. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
