She was predeceased by: her father Earlie Strickland. She is survived by: her husband Troy Meeks; her children, John Meeks (Kena) and Star Meeks; her grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, Nakita and Tyler; and her sister Vernell Gooch (Wallace). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
