He was predeceased by: his parents, K. C. Wilbanks and Onie Wilbanks; his brothers, Bobby Joe Wilbanks and Marlin Wilbanks; and his brother-in-law J. G. Flake.
He is survived by: his siblings, Billy Kyle Wilbanks (Dimple), Jeannie Dixon (Merl) and Billie Sue Flake; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Wilbanks and Dorothy Wilbanks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
